Megaman Tribute Entry by DHTenshi Megaman Tribute Entry by DHTenshi
Well, uploading, I'm too sad to say it wasn't good enough

Participated, but it didn't get in =/

Anyways, worked very hard on it, based the armor on the X8 design, and well, used reference for the pose (i took a picture of myself in that pose lol)

Probably the best realistic X there is that isn't so westernized it's disgusting.

Awesome!

I love the texturing you did...especially the fluff in the clouds and the brushed steel-look on X's armor. Any tips? :3

using diferent brushes help a lot, the clouds where made with a brush that seems like it's for making hair, but with a soft touch. About the armor, I painted a lot of lines, trying to make it look like the steel is not new, but damaged and used =)
Thanks for your comment =), I hope this helps you a bit, if you need any more help, just ask

They do help, thank you. I'm pretty new to digital art and haven't quite found any brushes/created a painting style for more naturalistic looks, but this is definitely a start. It's kind of frustrating to see the style I like seems to come from Painter though...>__>

Thanks kindly though and I'll just reiterate how awesome your picture is, even though it's rather still.
